I’ve been thinking about how much the Nocatee Greenway and the local trail connections affect everyday life here. Between the paths around Crosswater, the neighborhoods off Preserve Parkway, and the routes that lead toward the community amenities, it sometimes feels easier to hop on a bike or take a walk than it does in a lot of other parts of Florida.
What I’m wondering is whether other people actually use the trail system for real transportation, not just recreation. Do you use the paths to get to Nocatee Town Center, the parks, or school drop-offs? Or are the trails mostly for exercise and evening walks in your experience?
It’s one of the things I appreciate most about living here: the community was built with movement in mind, not just cars.
At the same time, I know not every route feels equally convenient depending on where you live in Nocatee, and some stretches are more pleasant than practical when it’s hot or rainy. I’d love to hear from neighbors in different parts of the community — especially folks in the newer sections — about what works, what doesn’t, and whether the trail network is actually shaping how you plan your day.
